In the Zonal Level English Language & Drama Competition, Dr.A.Thiagarajah M.M.V students won the First prize in the Group Events and three First places in Individual Events.

In the Group Events, Gr.10,11,12 and 13 students won the first prize in the Senior Dialogue Drama Completion.

In the Individual Events, Mas.A.Piranavaruban a Grade 7 student won the First prize in the Story Telling completion. Ms.T.Rojana  a Grade 12 student won the First prize in the News Reading Competition. Ms.P.Kujilini a Grade 13 student again won the First prize in the Oratory Competition.
